.....these cows ended up chasing me across the field probably cos they thought I was going to feed them and then just ended up wanting a photo :-) This was Monmouth today at around 1pm and it was chucking it down with snow (AlfieUK)

Welcome to Raglan Castle. Even after 600 years and the devastation of the Castle in the English Civil War, the castle stands pure and strong.

In the distance the tower of St Cadoc's Church and the tops of the houses on Castle street are visible. I wonder what Fairfax and his troops saw when they destroyed the Castle in 1649?
